Our biggest project to date... introducing the ESE store and workshop !
New for 2026 is our physical location, the ESE guitars store and workshop, our location where the magic happens. A hub for every new build, set up, repair going forward, where we will have our team of luthiers tending to your every need. Based in the heart of Tiverton in the south west of England, we will be selling all our products here in store, ranging from pre owned guitars, to new guitars, and being the exclusive store where you can purchase your very own ESE custom guitar direct from our shop floor, skip the wait times and take home your guitar today !

Here at ESE guitars, we have a passion for delivering uncompromised quality and playability, fully directed by the customers ideas for what they want in their dream guitar, at ESE we can build you anything, from super shredder extended range guitars, to blues behemoths, our guitars are designed so you can get the most out of your music, with a guitar that is totally unique to you !

All our guitars are hand crafted here in the south west of England, with no CNC or automation in the build process, every guitar is carved and created with care, precision and attention to detail by our team of luthiers, allowing you to truly design something unique that has soul and dedication to to the art of guitar building flowing from every note.

Gone are the days of having to make an expensive international call, just for a guitar from a brand you've never played, at ESE we offer a try before you buy service, come on down to our Tiverton store and workshop and get to know the team personally, check out some previous builds and watch the process happen, buying a custom guitar should not be a headache or stressful, it should be exiting, and at ESE we want to create that community feel. SET UPS AND REPAIRS
Alongside delivering the highest performance custom guitars, we also offer tech services and repair work, right from our base in Tiverton. No job is too big or small for our team at ESE, from fret levelling, refinishing, cracked necks or headstocks, cracked fretboards all the way to new hardware installations or just your general pro level set up, ESE has you covered.

CUSTOM PICKUPS AND ESE PEDALS
Coming in 2026, we will be providing a service allowing our customers to spec and design their own pickups, deigned and voiced by you and hand wound right here in the ESE store and workshop in Tiverton. From humbuckers to single coils, to dual rails, P90s and high or low output, our custom pickups will be tailored to your every need as a player and allowing you to achieve your desired tone.

ESE guitars have also partnered with Bare Knuckle Pickups and ToneRider Pickups, both of which you can purchase in our Tiverton store directly from us, this opens more opportunities for for our customers to achieve the sound they desire through a reputable high end manufacturer. All ESE stock guitars from 2026 will come stock with Bare Knuckle Pickups or ToneRider Pickups, which are also able to be custom voiced by you, if you wish to have a set in your ESE custom guitar build, or just want an easy way to get custom voiced pickups from either one of these companies.

Coming later in 2026, we will also start manufacturing our own pedals, this will range from your tone building essentials like overdrive, delay and reverb, compression and sustain all the way to your more experimental effects like harmonizers, wah, chorus and flanger. These pickups will also be built in house in our Tiverton store and available for purchase directly online, or in our shop.
BUY AND SELL USED GEAR
Not only do we sell our own hand made ESE custom guitars from our Tiverton store, we also accept trade and part exchange, not only this, we also offer a buy and sell scheme. If you have an old guitar lying around, or a few guitars that don't see much attention anymore, ESE wants them !

Drop them by our ESE workshop and store in Tiverton for a quote, inspection and potentially a sale, helping you make quick cash on your unwanted music gear. No matter if its guitars, basses, amplifiers, pedals and cabs, we are ESE have a love for guitar gear but also finding you the best price on your old instruments.

We also sell these guitars in store in our pre owned section. Each guitar receives a full set up and inspection done in house, bringing you the music gear you've been after at a much more affordable price.
